I’m an artist who makes objects that visually support the way I think and what I think about. I believe collaboration and isolation can be beneficial to the creative process, but not necessarily to the artist. That creating “timeless” art is impossible, but it’s not without merit that a creator should strive for this achievement. I understand with technology we have the instant capabilities of stardom but lack the focus to qualify what greatness is; this schizophrenic way of seeing, sensing, and ultimately creating can be the most connected and universally lonely experience at the same time. That my communion with art is ultimately my access to myself, that form is a filter that should be changed frequently. That glitches happen.
